Radio, Podcasts & Live Events

I’m a four-time Canadian Podcast Award-winning writer, producer, and host for podcasts and radio. I regularly contribute to CBC Radio/Podcasts (Commotion, The Doc Project, Personal Best) and produce and host my own series on the Sonar Network, You Made Me Queer! (Apple Podcasts & Amazon Music feature, Xtra recommendation, opener for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee). Past interviewees include Mark Tewksbury (Olympic gold medalist), Sook-Yin Lee (Shortbus, MuchMusic), Scott Thompson (The Kids in the Hall) and Jinkx Monsoon (RuPaul’s Drag Race).

I also host and moderate in-person events such as Fan Expo Canada, Toronto Comicon, the Toronto International Festival of Authors and the Kingston Writers Festival. Past interviewees include Jon Bernthal (The Bear, The Walking Dead), Ming-Na Wen (Mulan, The Mandalorian), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian), the cast of Amazon Prime’s The Boys, Scott Patterson (The Gilmore Girls), and Sean Gunn (The Guardians of the Galaxy).

“Trevor is a great interviewer, thoughtful, surprising and FUN.
He brought me down paths
I’d never traveled.”

You Made Me Queer! (YMMQ!) is a serial comedy interview podcast about queer origin stories. Each episode, I invite my guest to point the finger at who and/or what “made” them queer, resulting in a glorious roast of “the gay agenda” and a hilarious celebration of self discovery.
